I searched a lot but there seems to be no way to have additional color schemes in Dev C++. The existing ones are way too bland. Also, I am no good at colors, yet, it feels as if I don't have the control to choose enough colors in the Editor Options. Precision tune auto care coupons. Is there a workaround? Can anyone port '>this?
Oct 23, 2008 I'm using Bloodshed DevC but it cannot compile, and only displaying this message 'The system could not find the file specified'.And when I start it,it displays this CAUTION:There doesn't seem to be GNU Make file in PATH or in Dev-C Bin Path. Please make sure that you have GNU Make and adjust Bin setting or system PATH enviroment variable and that make setting in Compiler Option contains. Just not to overlook the obvious, but did you search the directory where you installed Dev-C for 'iostream' to make sure iostream.h and iostream.cpp are there?
Certainly some may say this is a lot of fuss over nothing. But, I believe its really important.
May 13, 2014 I think you have mistakenly altered the settings. What you are probably talking about is called a 'report Window' in C.You may have turned it OFF. Click on ViewCheck 'Floating Report Window'. I would also suggest to change your color settings. Apr 07, 2020 dev c compiling problems hallow: iam newbie in c programming and iam using dev c compiler its work good for me when i write my own code but when i download some source codes from internet and try to compile it it's give me many erorrs so i want to know is this a compiler problem or what? Why Dev C++ Is Not Compiling
May 02, 2009 My dev c has gone completely insane or something. I can compile my programs, no problem there. But when I press run, nothing happens. When I press compile and run, it compiles but does not run.

No one has an answer? Or is it that Dev C++ does not have such features. Tell me about a good editor (if not an IDE) which is good features and additional color scheme adding capability. How elhae uses auto tunes.
Dev C Does Not Compiling Download
Originally released by Bloodshed Software, but abandoned in 2006, it has recently been forked by Orwell, including a choice of more recent compilers. It can be downloaded from:
http://orwelldevcpp.blogspot.com
Installation
Run the downloaded executable file, and follow its instructions. The default options are fine.Support for C++11
By default, support for the most recent version of C++ is not enabled. It shall be explicitly enabled by going to:Tools -> Compiler Options
Here, select the 'Settings' tab, and within it, the 'Code Generation' tab. There, in 'Language standard (-std)' select 'ISO C++ 11':
Ok that. You are now ready to compile C++11!
Compiling console applications
To compile and run simple console applications such as those used as examples in these tutorials it is enough with opening the file with Dev-C++ and hitF11
.As an example, try:
File -> New -> Source File
(or Ctrl+N
)There, write the following:
Then:
File -> Save As..
(or Ctrl+Alt+S
)And save it with some file name with a
.cpp
extension, such as example.cpp
.Now, hitting
F11
should compile and run the program. If you get an error on the type of
x
, the compiler does not understand the new meaning given to auto
since C++11. Please, make sure you downloaded the latest version as linked above, and that you enabled the compiler options to compile C++11 as described above.
